Can my grandmother receive pension credit thru her prepaid credit card?

She usually has to go to the postoffice and stand in the queue for ages. She has no bank account but she has a prepaid credit card.

Most prepaid cards allow free top ups from wages. It shouldn't be any different for pension. PostOffice offers its own Prepaid card too, so there must be a way to do what you're trying to achieve.

  • Tell her to open an account with the Co-Op Bank. Just a basic account, she will be issued a Debit Card where she withdraw money from most cash points FREE.

    If she uses a prepaid card she pays every time she withdraws cash

  • Why cant she open up any basic bank account and have it paid into that? and no it cant be paid into the prepaid credit card.
