How do you go about changing your solo card details?

ive just changed my name by deed poll and im just about to send the legal document to the bank. but how do i get the details on my card changed? do i send it with the legal document? do i need to pay? or what

You need to call your bank and ask what the procedure is. No you shouldn't have to pay and yes you will need to send the document to them and you also need to ask for a new card.

You will then be sent a new card with your new name on.

Easy!

• If I remember correctly, when I changed my name by deed poll, I sent the bank my document and in due course they issued me with a new card. Call your bank to check first though.
