Resolved Question
Can I not get a security officer job with a bad credit history of some outstanding amount?
Best Answer - Chosen by Voters
Probably difficult in security or financial related fields including cashiers. Reason: People in financial difficulty may have a weakness for obtaining extra money through other than legitimate means. I'm not say everyone, not even you, but the potential exists and employers don't want to take that risk. Bonding companies won't take that risk either.

- If you have debts then how will you be able to pay the £280 for your SIA Licence which you need before you can become a security guard, it means you go for training and then sit exams and must pass them and also have a criminal record check done, you also need a passport for identification. - Hubby is a security guard - do you really want to work 7 12 hour shifts every week for the minimum wage?0% 0 Votes
- might be difficult...especially in a security job. Can you find a different position in the company so you can build trust? If so, then they will probably move you up.0% 0 Votes
