I have a low credit score and keen to get a credit card. What is the best one to try and apply for? Thanks?

I would like to get a credit card to establish a credit rating. Although because I have changed address I am having problems getting a card. who is the best card company to approach without marking my credit rating?

Any creditor that u will apply to is an "inquiry" and will be marked in ur credit report.

• Vanquis spcialise in credit cards for those with a poor credit history so have you tried them? you will need to be on the electoral role though.
  
  Another alternative if you are trying to build up your credit rating is one of the prepaid credit cards like tuxedo or the bread card and i don't think they require credit checks just a valid UK address and passport or driving licence.
