My credit card was used at a cash point by some one else?

Resolved Question

My credit card was used at a cash point by some one else?

when i reported this to the police and the credit card ppl they informed me that it wasnt a cloned card transcation and that it was of a chip and pin transcation which means the person would have had to have my card, the police and credit card ppl wanted to know my activity for that day and unfortunately i only used it early in the morning at a drive thru outlet for breakfast where i was the passenger in my car and we had a collegue in the back and my other collegue driving the chip and pin machine had no protector so anyone could have seen my pin, it was straight as after this about 2hrs later thats when my card had been used as a withdrawal and they put the card back in my bag, i also reported this to my line manager at work, who then reported to the other manager who my collegue in the back of the car works for but i did say to my boss that i dont know for sure who has used it but i had to informed the police and credit card company of this as it was an event in the day i didnt accuse any of my collegues but somehow word got around in the office that i was accusing the collegue in the back of the car and now apparently he is fuming with me.. again i did not accuse him someone who told him changed the story and was going around saying i accused him.
I was abit worried of this as i didnt accuse him of anything but obviously ppl like spreading gossip in the office now i am concerned he may damage my personal assets i.e car or be aggressive towards me because of mis information that he has received from some one else. i mean would he do that because my boss was saying that if anything was to happen to me or my car or something else then the blame would go on him and he will lose his job if he did that. am i right?

Additional Details

is it just the case that he is angry that he thinks he got accused when i havent even accused him i just had to inform my work place as that was what the police advised? because him and my other collegue were the only ones in the car at that time and also the card was taken out of my bag and used then put back which i find extremely strange and the credit card ppl said it definately wasnt a cloned card transcation that someone had access to my card.
i mean if he did anything now the blame would go on him right? and i dont think he wants to lose his job am i right in thinking he is just annoyed and he may just want to speak to me bout it and leave it there?

if your card has an RF chip for internet purchases... it can be cloned using RF scanners. I actually caught someone carrying a briefcase with a robust machine to scan and download credit card numbers within 24" of the device.
